"Madi Mae is not bound by form and has made her own landscape -- she is ethereal and bright as they come. What can we call an artist like this, like her? A humble and resounding voice. A soft song in the darkness. A precise knife. A servant to the craft of storytelling. She has mastered the delicacy and exactness is takes to turn the tough questions into a beautiful invitation. Her work transcends the border of genre and takes her audience with her. Madi sees the entire world as a work of art— and in her work she opens, takes us by the hand, invites us in, and shows us all how to see it that way, too.

— Desireé Dallagiacomo, author of Sink, Button Poetry 2019

The Eckleburg Project Literary Magazine
2013-2014, Co-Founder + Editor-in-Chief

My junior year of undergrad at Texas A&M, I co-founded The Eckleburg Project as the official literary magazine of the school. Still in print to this day, they print a magazine each semester of undergrad art, poetry, and prose.

Beyond the publication itself, my goal for TEP was to be a community of artists to support, grow, and, and learn from each other.
